It seems like this week is the orientation week for NTU as well! I hope the undergraduate admission for my department is good this year, since I played a part! :)

It was a fun experience taking the photos. :D
I WILL MISS MY CLASSMATES A LOT A LOT A LOT. <3

I'm looking foward to the field trip on friday. In NTU, we never had the chance to go on site and look at the real stuff! Now I've got the chance! It has gotta be exciting.

Alrights i'm finally here in denmark after 1 week of torture of settling administrative issues, which have not been fully resolved yet. But yea, here i am! Have a lot of firsts alr, like just now, i just threw in my clothes into the washing machine for the first time and got kinda fascinated! haha. Anw, went to Copenhagen central ytd and walked walked abit, the weather here is a bit cold, a bit like HK's winter, but still manageable. But it rains way too often, no umbrella cannot survive ar! haha.

I'm staying in DTU Campus Village, sharing a container with about 8 people, well currently all I see in my house are guys, well...haha. In the container we have common facilities like the toilet, washroom, kitchen, fridges and some cutleries and utensils. I haven't started cooking yet but i may soon, otherwise i'ld be eating sandwich every single day. I saw some cheap buys at the supermarket just now, it's like 8 pieces of beef steaks for 39 kronos, not bad. Can last for 1 wk liddat, shiok!

Starting tmr it'll be the introduction week, hope to meet and make more friends as well, and i nid to get the admin issues settled! haha. And just now 2 french guys came to knock on my door drenched, cus it was raining heavily, i thot they're living here but apparently they just passed by to say hi, so cute. They told me their names but i just nod without getting them. lol. Anw it needs to stop raining! >< The washing machines are located in the next container and I nid to go put the clothes in the dryer!

cca book launch event is finally over! will miss those peeps! =) esp since i'm not continuing the cca cus of exchange, IA...etc. hope we continue to meet up as and when for camwhoring sessions again!! HAHA.

haven't blogged in a while.

recently i have been doing some meaningful stuff.
i have been busy with community project, which is involved in publishing a book consisting of various stories of the elderly, from which proceeds from the sales of the book would be donated to charity. tho it can be tiring, but it's fulfilling at the same time. =) working with pple can also be a joy tho there could also be disagreements or obstacles at times. but satisfaction is immense when we get things done! and we get bonded well also! haha.

another thing. i have been doing some pub-related stuff for this prof from home thinking that i won't get paid. ytd, he asked me how many hours i have spent on working for him and he would pay me $10 per hour! that's cool. and he's fast. once i sent him a reply. he told me the price is fair and he banked into my account alr. cool. he will also ask me to do more work next time. =)

i want to do more meaningful stuff! had a long chat with my long time friend ytd. thinking of so many things i want to do in this life. i want to try so many different things. and i want to put this thought into action! hopefully this feeling of mine would stay in me as long as i live.

rewatching CODE BLUE with my sis cus she seems to like medical dramas.
since there's recently there's this campaign about filial piety in sg, i shall talk abt this.

one of the patient in the show is going 90 and his illness would make him live only a few months more. two choices were given to him:

1. have an operation on him to extend his life for a few more months, which is not recommended by the doctors cus that'll only cause him more pain considering his age

2. give him medication to sooth his pain and let him pass on naturally, which is recommended by the doctor.

His children told the doctors they wanted him to have the operation, because they need him. Well, behind the doctors they were saying they need the pension he gets, even if it's just one month more. And they asked each other if they would get the pension on his death month? etc...the doctor heard and was qte sad abt it. The other doctor suggested her to consult the patient himself and let him decide for himself.

At the end of the episode, the old patient was pushed into the room and was smiling to his son and daughter-in-law who were smiling at him as well. And the doctors talked to each other at the back saying that the patient has signed his consent, adding that he already known about their need for the pension from the start but he wants to live on because he's needed, even if what they need is just his pension.

Then the doctor said everyone can only live knowing that he's needed. That's why he's working so hard to become the best doctor, etc.

It's qte sad but i do agree with this...we all live because someone needs us. Well the need may not be that crucial but most of us may just need that reassurance...

Sorry if this sounds like a pointless post...just makes me reflect a bit. hahaha.

skyping a lot these days after coming back from hk. very funny. my mum said the cheese cakes we had a few days ago has come to waste cus no one wants to eat. BUT I WANT!! >< my bro stil say feed me on the screen. ANGRY! i should have brought them back. lol.

anw sin tee is currently staying in my house cus the train tickets back to her hometown has been sold out! haha poor thing. so she gonna stay here for ard a week. but ytd was funny cus both my sisters got shocked by her. haha.

looking at my dad, business is hard to do ar.

The drama called Love Letter 5 years from now talks about the husband passing away from an illness and couldn't wait for his son to be born.

Haven't watched/don't dare to watch, but from this video, it seems like he left behind a lot of messages and stuff for his wife and son.
very sad but sweet. the power of japanese sad dramas is that they emit courage, strength, something that we can learn from.

For korean sad dramas, it's more like love and tears...that's all.

had been with my eid group girls for a few days...right after exams it was preparing for the project and then after the presentation we rushed for the train at tanjong pagar!! LOL. take train to pahang...very exciting train ride...i like to take train. =)

the following two days in sin tee's house was full of fun. had fun playing monopoly, even tho i was the only on who din manage to win even once at the end of the trip. BUT I LIKE IT. XD

after we come back it's eat eat eat...anurad and huiyang stayed over at my house and we played wii together. RESIDENT EVIL!! haha. talking abt which when we're bored. we started to discuss abt pple on fb...haha. talked abt some crushes i used to have. miss those times. i'm feeling old alr.

and today, just sent yoongshin and anurad off back to malaysia at the airport. the lesson learnt is: don't ever take budget airlines. LOL. k la...will see how...but will try not to i think...it's really so much a hassle.

fun filled memories. will miss these them when i'm in denmark...k except ys...LOL. i must say i will miss some of my coursemates who are not in my eid grp as well. somehow...close frens i'm okay abt saying goodbye...cus i can always contact them somehow...but for other frens, it may really be a long time till i next see them. mixed feelings. the thing is...it could be that when i'm in denmark...i can't bear to leave there...LOL.

let's see how this will go...

i seem to have a fetish for platinum hair colour. anw love the part rapped by gd aka platinum hair boy. my guy frens asked me if he's a guy or girl once. i think he's somewhat like a diva. that's what i like abt him. among my 3 fav idols now, yamapi from news, micky from dbsk and gd from big bang. frankly speaking he's the only one i think has true talent. the other two i basically like their personality. pple may think that i like them for their face but actually if i were like this i would not have liked them cus i think these 3 are not the most good looking idols ard.

anw started a weird lab report ytd and finally just finished writing it. now the prob i face is no more ink and paper! i think the report is like 50 page including all the appendix. lol. and 4 quizzes next week, gotta start studying tmr...jiayouu. now is 4.49am, shall go slp soon...yea...

i am so glad i have the friends i have now...i dunno how they feel about me but i totally treasure them deep in my heart. my pri sch frens, jc classmates, uni friends, they are all the people who give me the power to keep on living. my family says i am emotionally very independent, actually i can be like this all because of these friends i have. may our friendship lasts forever...i really love you guys a lot.

We got married featuring Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun couple is sooo cute. They look cute together. Because Yong Hwa is such a rocker and Seo hyun is so silly, it makes me smile at times as well. One week a time is soooo short...their segment is barely 30mins. Din really have special liking for Yong hwa and cn blue at first but now i do find them qte cute. Maybe because their personalities are so not idol. haha.

I AM SO HUNGRY!!!

I am like on the quest to find the nicest japanese curry rice, ramen, dessert and steak!!
Steamboat and Japanese and Korean bbq, I LOVE TOO!!

Curry ramen in Ajisen, i din order that, it's 2nd sis's one! but i tried a bit...it tasted GOOD!

Desert at tcc, quite nice lahh...but i should have discovered the treasure at the bottom earlier!!

Dessert at..some place in marina forgot...all is good but why no corn flakes? Charmian said she can go supermarket buy some cornflakes and pour onto this for me. haha.

This thing is damn nice...esp the chessecake at the bottom...not really a cheesecake person but this is really good.

Steak at newyork newyork! nice but i kinda still prefer the juicy ones at jacks' place. XD

I have spent two days on this hit drama called You're beautiful. Enjoyed my time watching it so the time spent was totally worthed it. A really sweet love comedy.

On a side note, I only started to live on music after I graduated from junior college. Now I don't really feel comfortable without music.
